The Team You’ll Work With
Carta’s vision is to create more owners globally. In this role you will lead design for Carta’s efforts to expand internationally in our priority markets outside of the US. Carta has become the de-facto equity management solution in the US market covering over 1 trillion dollars in assets with more than 20,000 companies. We see a huge opportunity to expand Carta outside the US. You will be reporting directly to the Director, Product Design and engaging with other teams across Carta in bringing new products to the international market.
The Problems You’ll Solve
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data to uncover customer insights and influence strategy to help define and execute the roadmap
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Design Leadership to define experiences and contribute to the overall direction of the product
- Design flows, prototypes, sketches, and testing for your features
- Participate in weekly design workshops and act as a mentor for junior designers
- Design to consistently scale and leverage shareable components for web and application
About You
- Experience in defining and launching products for businesses internationally
- Strong communication skills with a talent for telling a clear and compelling stories
- Founder mentality to work on 0-1 projects, strong ownership mindset
- Leadership abilities to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Interest in learning about the startup ecosystem and VC in different markets
- Ability to work with distributed global teams
