We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer with expertise in information architecture to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in shaping the future user experience across our interconnected suite of financial products. You will define our strategic blueprint for how information, content, and data are presented and accessed by users. You will focus on developing an intuitive and cohesive information architecture that seamlessly integrates our offerings into a single, user-friendly platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement our future information architecture strategy that enhances usability and streamlines workflows across our financial products.
  • Define the hierarchy, labeling, and relationships between different data and content elements to ensure ease of discovery and access to information.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and other designers across our platform to navigate structures and information hierarchies that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, refining information architecture and user experience based on data-driven decisions.
  • Create diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design concepts effectively and facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Champion a user-centered design approach across all stages of the product development process, ensuring that information architecture is consistently integrated into product designs.
  • Build alignment across disparate teams, each maintaining separate priorities and goals, to deliver an integrated platform experience.
  • Promote your vision and plan across the organization, working with senior leadership to build alignment across teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to foster innovation within the team.

Who You Are

  • Ideally you'll have a Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Product Designer or Information Architect, preferably in the fintech or complex data digital spaces.
  • A portfolio showcasing proven user-centered information architecture design practices and a high degree of design craftsmanship.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing information architecture for complex products or systems.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
  • Strong analytical skills, content analysis, understanding of user behavior, ability to create sitemaps, taxonomy development, and knowledge of information design principles.
  • Proficient in Figma and other design and prototyping tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
