Senior Product Designer, Hospitality

The design team at OpenTable is made up of product designers, brand designers, and content strategists, who – with our peers in product management, engineering, and marketing – build OpenTable's market-defining products for restaurants and diners.

In this role, you will:

• Lead initiatives that give restaurateurs new and meaningful ways to connect with their guests
• Identify new product opportunities, and use systems thinking to scale solutions across our platform
• Design tools that enable restaurants to grow their business
• Become an expert in restaurant operator workflows by facilitating research with restaurant owners and staff
• Work closely with an inquisitive and collaborative team of product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver experiences that help restaurants provide the best hospitality for their guests

How we design for restaurants

Please apply if you have:

• At least 5 years of product design experience
• Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools
• Experience defining information architecture
• Service design experience mapping and simplifying complicated workflows
• Experience designing for enterprise, mobile and/or solved for very complex experiences
• Strong product and business thinking
• Phenomenal visual design skills
• Led user interviews and testing of designs
• The ability to negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work into measurable outcomes
• The ability to distill large amounts of data into digestible insights
• Experience working closely with engineers in an agile environment
