As a Senior Product Designer for our Storefront team, you will drive design execution for our e-commerce and the joining experience for new members. You will work on challenges that connect business goals directly to member gratification. As a key part of the product team, you’ll help define, iterate, and evolve business-critical features from concept to launch.
We’re looking for someone who is motivated by high-impact opportunities to evolve the way our customers engage, discover, and select WHOOP accessory and apparel products. Your work will span from evolving the design system for web and native components to online store performance—supporting conversations for new member and buyer experiences.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- As a senior-level Product Designer at WHOOP, you will guide design execution for our ecommerce flows—including shopping experiences for devices, accessories and apparel—that delight members across web and app
- Visually communicate ideas and iterations with peers and stakeholders through sketches, wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes
- Frame problems based on data and customer insights to inform direction, advocate for the member, and drive business growth
- Lead design reviews with metrics-driven outcomes tailored to stakeholders across the organization including product managers, engineering, business owners, legal, and market leads
- Design for A/B experimentation to examine divergent ideas, validate patterns and flows, and continuously learn
- Be a strong thought partner to product managers to ideate high-impact opportunities and plan design artifacts Support developers and QA to ensure what’s built meets your intended designs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience working as a product designer for responsive web and in-app consumer-facing ecommerce
- Experience with common design tools and methodologies (e.g. Figma, wireframing, workflow diagrams, prototyping etc)
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineering teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup-like environment
- A portfolio with case studies of relevant work you were directly responsible for with demonstrated impact
- Curious and passionate about the fitness and wellness space
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
