About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Design leader to craft innovative products that empower employers to attract talent by showcasing their employees' experiences and exceptional workplace cultures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to core products that are part of Glassdoor’s strategy for growth, and partner with cross-functional teams to execute and iterate on this vision.
What You'll Do
- Analyze customer behaviors, identify opportunities to solve problems, and create cohesive, best-in-class experiences to our most challenging and high impact areas.
- Responsibly and effectively advocate for the customer in a corporate environment, fostering a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, technology and business.
- Deliver high quality creative products with utmost attention to detail.
- Champion cohesion in design to unite a growing family of programs and features, while continuing to deliver and evangelize a fervent culture of invention and innovation.
- Demonstrate systems-level design thinking to design solutions that scale.
- Communicate high-level design strategies to leadership within and outside of the team.
- Help nurture a thriving design culture with a commitment to growing and developing fellow designers.
What You'll Bring
- A commitment to add to our culture of DEI
- A total of 10+ years professional experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, product designer, or similar role
- Portfolio of work demonstrating ability to create customer-centric experiences across a range of touch-points, as well as proficiency in UI and interaction design
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree, in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience within the design field
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range*: $172,000.00 - $258,000.00
*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
Annual Bonus Target**: 20%
Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
