Senior Product Designer

Your role

We’re on a mission to simplify global trade. To achieve this goal, Forto’s design team creates excellent end-to-end experiences, covering the entire process chain from quotation, booking, document management, track and trace all the way to proactive exception handling, invoicing, and supply chain data analytics. Together we push the boundaries of design quality in B2B to make our product experience feel simple, trustworthy, and human. 

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Product Designer to work on products that serve clients, partners, and operation teams worldwide. The right candidate likes to work autonomously and enjoys making an impact in a complex and changing environment.

You will

• Develop a strong, user-focused point of view on your product area and advocate for user needs in a collaborative way.
• Own the end-to-end design process for a variety of initiatives.
• Formulate hypotheses together with Product Managers, run experiments, and turn conceptual ideas into high-quality design solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and Business Stakeholders to help define feature requirements based on empirical data, usability findings, market research, and proven user-centered design principles.
• Create design deliverables including user flows, interaction, and visual design.
• Drive experimentation and create prototypes from low to high fidelity.
• Measure the success of your solutions, using both - qualitative and quantitative methods, and iterate when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers to reach high-quality implementation.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to identify opportunities and generate solutions.
• Communicate design decisions to relevant stakeholders.
• Actively contribute and shape the future of Forto’s design system.
• Help grow our design team, improve processes, and provide mentorship to more junior designers.

What you bring

The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and eager to learn with us as we change the future of global trade.

• 5+ years experience with end-to-end product design (Product/Growth, B2B experience preferable)
• Ability to think through complex interactions
• Problem-solver mindset, focusing on outcomes over output
• Sharp understanding of how design decisions impact business objectives and KPIs
• Experience in planning, designing, running, and analyzing User Research activities
• Experience in validating design solutions using qualitative and quantitative methods 
• Ability to articulate design decisions, with an iterative mindset and openness to learn and adapt
• Experience in working with Figma and design systems
• Strong communicator (verbal and written) and user advocate
• Proactive and comfortable working autonomously 
• Fluent in English
