Senior Product Designer for Design System [Remote within EMEA, LATAM and USA Eastern time zones]

Duties

• You will be working in Design system team, who consist of yourself , Developer and Product Manager. Together as team you will have the opportunity to shape and build Deel’s design system

• Building, updating and maintaining components in Figma

• Empowering designers and engineers to adopt the design system to work quickly with high standards

• Reduce level of variants accordingly

• Increase level of consistency accordingly

• Making sure we have fully functional components, with defined behaviours in Figma and in Code (Storybook)

• Maintain the level of documentation accordingly. We prefer you know the design system more than it's documentations

• Highly collaborate with product designers, product managers and developers across teams. We believe that the work comes from everyone, not just top down

• Be comfortable with the being involved with the end to end development process. From ideation to design and then design QA - you feed and unblock the team

• Above all - Be part of the journey to redefine a way of working for people all round the world

Requirements

• Be passionate about design and design system

• Able to learn fast 

• Experienced working in fast pace environment

• Experienced in end to end product design for web and app for at least 5 years

• Experienced in working full time in Design system for minimum 2 to 3 years

• Know how to build a system that flows between designers, developers and product managers

• Strong problem solver in a systemic way

• Have strong knowledge and practice in both UX and UI

• For this role, you will need to be in EMEA, LATAM and USA Eastern time zones
