About the role

As a Senior Product Designer for the Enterprise portfolio, you will be responsible for designing the license management experiences. The primary persona you will focus on is the administrator, the person responsible for managing their Udemy business account. Your mission will focus on designing for scalable, simple and quality experience to meet our Enterprise grade bar.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Seek qualitative and quantitative data to inform hypothesis about how to improve the Administrator user experience
  • Collaborate with your team’s product manager, engineering lead and leadership to prioritize problems and opportunities
  • Facilitate your teams effort to solve priority problems and opportunities through workshops and other ideation methods
  • Drive the design process, taking solutions through multiple iterations and rounds of feedback with your team, stakeholders, the design group and the potential users.
  • Validate solutions through research and customer feedback, evaluate and understand the impact, gaps and opportunities to improve.

  • You drive the design process, taking solutions through multiple iterations and rounds of feedback with your team, stakeholders, the design group and the potential users.
  • You regularly and clearly articulate your design process, key decisions, and the information and insights that informed your decisions.
  • You demonstrate expertise in your product area through mastery of best practices and knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • You have experience in leveraging design systems in your work to reduce the cost of shipping product while maintaining a cohesive user and brand experience
  • You can simultaneously move multiple high-priority projects toward delivery in a fast-paced agile environment. 
  • You have mastery of hierarchy, white space, typography, composition, and demonstrate a refined aesthetic sensibility in your visual design work
  • You know how to extract insight from successful and unsuccessful experiments, learn from your mistakes, and identify what you could do differently in the future
  • You exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for work. 
  • You take ownership for execution issues, explain what was learned, and rapidly remedy any problems

  • You have experience in leveraging design systems in your work to reduce the cost of shipping product while maintaining a cohesive user and brand experience.
  • You can move high-priority projects toward delivery in a fast-paced agile environment. 
  • You have a refined aesthetic sensibility in your visual design work.
