What you’ll be responsible for as a Senior Product Designer at albelli-Photobox Group

You are a product designer for a wide range of brands; Photobox (UK,FR), albelli (NL,UK,NO,SE,FR), Hofman(SP) and PosterXXL(DE). Those brands share the same technology. As product designer you are responsible both for the UI and UX of the products in your area. You’ll work within existing journeys as well as exploring new and creative approaches to solving customers problems in the future.

You’ll be working on end-to-end user journeys, information architecture, user flows, interactive prototypes, usability testing and interface and interaction design. You’ll work closely with your product team to clearly define user problems and outcomes, led by qualitative research and analytics.

You’ll be part of the design and research team, led by the Group Director of Design. The team meets on a regular basis for feedback, collaboration and to define and refine our design and research standards and approach.

The impact you’ll make

• You’ll be the senior designer responsible for interfaces and journeys for our shopping experience.
• You’ll focus on improving overall customer experience, conversion and average order value.
• You’ll collaborate closely with designers in the editor team (where customers create their customised products) to create a seamless end-to-end experience.
• You’ll be working on how we can help customers to better understand our product range by improving and simplifying content.
• You’ll work on improving how we present and manage prices, and use usability testing to diagnose problems in the conversion funnel in checkout.
• You’ll work in close collaboration with product managers and engineers, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• You’ll work with our UX researchers when you need to scope and run usability studies.

Requirements

Must Have Experience:

• Demonstrable experience as Product Designer, ideally in an ecommerce business
• Experience coaching other designers
• You design in Figma
• You have experience working within multidisciplinary agile teams
• You have experience working with pattern libraries and brand guidelines
• You bring knowledge of user problem and outcome framing (for example; hypotheses, user stories, jobs to be done, success criteria and similar)
• You design accessible user journeys, flows, interactions and interfaces
• You have experience creating testable prototypes
• You work with success measures and metrics
• You have experience of iterating products that are live to customers

We offer a hybrid working environment and this role is based out of our Amsterdam office, located next to Central Station with stunning views of the harbor, and the numerous canals running through the old city.
