Senior Product Designer

Siilo is a secure medical communication app specifically designed for healthcare professionals. With over 500,000 healthcare professionals using Siilo, it provides a platform for discussing and coordinating patient care with colleagues, both within and outside their organization. Currently, Siilo is the largest medical network in Europe.

Your Job:

As a Senior Product Designer at Siilo you will be working on features that help grow Siilo’s trusted and relevant network of healthcare professionals and advance our vision for network medicine. You’ll take on an outdated way of working in the healthcare field and provide a fresh take on how our users collaborate. You will collaborate directly with engineers, product managers, and user research, and participate in usability testing. This role calls for system thinking, insightful innovation, great execution, and an obsession with quality. You will bring a motivation to take projects to the finish line, and optimism to be inspired by the unknown and never settle, solving problems with creativity, craft, and the user in mind.

You will be responsible for:

• Owning the entire design process from exploring the problem definition to developing a suitable solution.
• Creating impactful designs using user interviews, analyzing data, formulating and validating hypotheses, sketching, prototyping.
• Translating qualitative and quantitative insights into hypotheses, prototypes, tests and features that are proven to delight our 500,000+ users and contribute directly to growing Siilo's trusted and relevant network of healthcare professionals.
• Working thoughtfully so that you not only take into account the ideal user flow but also examine all paths of the user journey.
• Understanding how to work from business goals to identify and seize new opportunities.
• Knowing how to include others in the design process and can substantiate the choices you make during this process.
• Looking for ways to expand your skills and to grow in your field. You like to share your knowledge and contribute to the growth of the team.

What we’re looking for from you:

• 7+ years of product design experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating high quality, thoughtful UX and UI work.
• Ability to work collaboratively with people from all disciplines and levels.
• Ability to facilitate team discussions and help drive decisions.
• Experience prototyping flows for users.
• Experience building products for native mobile (Android, iOS) and web.
• Extensive knowledge of mobile and desktop design patterns.
• Understanding of the product release cycle and making the necessary trade-offs and prioritizations decisions to ship.
• Experience with health tech is a plus.
