Why Ironclad?
If you’ve ever accepted a job offer, rented an apartment, applied for a credit card, or clicked “I agree” on a product’s Terms of Service, you’ve accepted a contract. The contract is one of the oldest technologies in the world. It’s what empowered humans to build civilizations by establishing mutually beneficial expectations. And yet, the tools for contracting are still stuck in the stone age while product design has moved on from Photoshop to Sketch to Figma.
Contracts are promises that underpin every business relationship in the world. But they’re dense, expensive, and painful to deal with. Ironclad is fixing that. And we’ve got the support and backing of names that realize the potential of our vision: BOND Capital, Sequoia, Accel are all on our cap table. We call Dropbox, Asana, Pixar, L’Oréal, Affirm, and Wayfair not only customers, but close partners in our mission to power the world’s contracts.
Design @ Ironclad
We’re a diverse group of creative thinkers and seasoned problem solvers spanning brand and product design. We come from industry leading teams such as Dropbox, Palantir, Gusto, and Thumbtack, and we are united behind our mission to transform the way contracts are made through human-centered design.
On the product design team, we have been building our design system over the past few years, but without a centralized owner. As we scale, we are forming a dedicated team to own and shape our design system alongside our EPD organization.
