Meet your team

Our product designers are deeply embedded in our product squads. They partner equally with product managers and engineers to address user needs. Through research and interviews they develop a deep understanding of the user's needs and use these insights to drive product decisions.

As Senior Product Designer,  you are  a member of a multidisciplinary design team, including product designers, UX researchers, UX copywriters and brand designers. The Senior Product Designer reports to the VP Design, Katharina Birkenbach

As Senior Product Designer you will be working hands-on collaborating with your engineering and product peers to design user centric solutions for our products. You will also collaborate closely with other designers to ensure quality and consistency across teams.

Our working model reflects a balance between the highly collaborative nature of our business and modern-day flexibility. We look forward to seeing you in our Berlin office on our bi-weekly face-to-face days and whenever else you'd like to come in.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute hands-on to the design and product development of your squad
  • Align with Product and Engineering on strategic direction of your squad   
  • Collaborate closely on research initiatives within your squad 
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure a cohesive user experience
  • Tasks include user research, wireframing, low and high fidelity designs, UX flows, prototyping and contributing to our design system

What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of experience as a product designer, working in cross-functional teams
  • You are a pragmatic perfectionist, who understands compromise, while applying your craft with great attention to detail
  • You bring excellent communication and organizational skills, able to present design work and user insights confidently to stakeholders, building trusting & collaborative relationships
  • You are passionate, bold and hardworking and are excited by big challenges
  • You are capable of coupling abstract thoughts and ideas from various contexts integrating deep user understanding to discover unique and thought-provoking insights
  • You have a solid background in user research and usability testing, are able to turn insights into value-adding features and improvements
  • You bring extensive experience in end to end design and development of exceptional products
  • You are highly skilled in state of the art design tools such as Figma and Sketch and can bring design ideas to life with low and high fidelity prototypes
