RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own unified, cohesive set of UX and visual guidelines for all of mobile & web products.

Establish and enforce processes to guide the appropriate usage and upkeep of the design system

Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify inconsistencies or deviations from the design system, working collaboratively with teams to ensure alignment.

Define clear versioning and release management strategies, ensuring seamless integration of design system updates across projects.

Provide clear and actionable feedback to product designers. Oversee and approve changes made by domain designers to maintain design system integrity.

Collaborate closely with product designers, developers, and product managers to ensure the design system aligns with project needs and requirements.

Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to gather input, share updates, and address questions or concerns related to the design system.

Champion the value and advantages of the design system to internal stakeholders, advocating for its adoption within our organization, and demonstrating its positive impact on user experience.

Continuously enhance and adapt the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging design trends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5+ years as a designer, with at least 2+ years of experience maintaining a design system

Clear demonstrable experience building design systems or component libraries

A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of product design, craftsmanship, and innovative solutions from conception to launch

Strong UI design skills with proficiency in Figma

Deep knowledge of design system principles, such as atomic design, and strong grounding in design theory

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Excellent methodical and critical thinking skills

Bachelor's degree from accredited university
