Senior Product Designer - Core HR (m/f/d) Location: Munich or Dublin

Our Core HR Domain is on a mission to empower organizations for employee self-service and remarkable employee management. We are responsible for core HR functionalities, such as Absences, Time Tracking, Document, Employee Profiles as well as Analytics & Reporting. Like all our tribes we are a cross-functional group of engineers, designers and product managers from many different nationalities and backgrounds, spread across different locations, continuing to grow in 2022. 

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Analytics & Reporting team. This is a newly formulated team and is in the process of structuring team responsibilities.Through a holistic understanding of interface and user experience design, a Senior Product Designer will see the projects from end-to-end -from recognizing an opportunity and understanding the customer’s needs through to final delivery. For the Analytics & Reporting (AR) team, we need a designer that has a strong foundation in the early stages of the design process, being comfortable in driving discovery & research with confidence and enough experience to support defining as well as shaping the future of Analytics in the core area of HRM.

The Senior Product Designer for the AR team is expected to work on a day-to-day basis with the Product Manager to define the main requirements and focus areas for the team throughout the year as well as constantly collaborating with the Engineer team to understand the technical requirements, how they impact the final delivery, and making sure that the solution is not only valuable to users and business but feasible from a technical perspective.

In addition, the Senior Product Designer will work closely with all members of the UX Team, specially with the UX Researcher responsible for the Core HR Domain in defining the best methods to research and validate hypotheses as well as solutions. Having experience in how to navigate scenario of uncertainty will be crucial in making this role successful, as well as having the willingness to drive User Research and data analysis that will help build the team vision as we continue to ggrow and scale.

• 5+ years of experience in designing web-based applications, ideally in a SaaS environment
• A portfolio that demonstrates your experience with digital products 
• Strong command of discovery & research focus within analytics or people analytics topics 
• Experience driving vision and proactive thinking in establishing a new team
• You understand how people interact with digital products, their cognitive biases and industry established interaction patterns
• Strong understanding of visual design and attention to detail. Experience with data visualization in the ability to translate complex data into intuitive insights of the end-user is a plus.
• You have the ability to iterate quickly, create low and high fidelity prototypes
• Good understanding of information architecture 
• You provide feedback regularly for continuous improvement, but also seek out areas of improvement as well
• Great communication skills in English
