We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to bolster our talented design team and take the lead on a new strategic investment at the centre of fulfilling our mission. About the role

Having set the bar with a “weirdly easy” purchasing experience for tickets, DICE is now expanding into selling other product categories to maximise the experiences our fans have at live events. This role will collaborate with a cross-functional product team to build out our new best-in-class approach to selling upgrades and extras across categories ranging from food & beverage to merchandise. 

You will

• Collaborate with a cross-functional product team to ideate, design, and prototype new experiences whilst staying true to our “weirdly easy” principle. 
• Work with product and engineering to oversee the delivery of the user experience from conception to launch (and continuous iterations)
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our customers,  crafting end-to-end flows across both our partner- and fan-facing products.
• Collaborate with the product management team to create an impactful product strategy, and lend the power of design to help bring this strategy to life and influence the wider business.
• Play an active role in communicating design decisions around the future direction of the product.
• Both give and solicit feedback from the broader design team in order to continually raise our bar for quality
• Conduct both generative and evaluative research, in collaboration with our customer insight team, to ensure we are building the right product to solve the problem.

You Are

• A music fan, and are passionate about our mission to bring more people together through live shows.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where your team is held accountable to highly ambitious goals.
• Exceptional at your craft, and have a playbook of best practices to deploy for almost every design challenge.
• Experienced in designing new product lines inside of existing businesses before, and know how to balance innovation with staying coherent with a broader design system.
• Comfortable with designing experiences for diverse customer personas.
• Able to have a commercial mindset, and are focused on delivering designs that meet both customer and business goals.
• Able to deploy design to tell a story that influences the team’s ideas and plans at every level in an organisation.

You’ll need

• Experience leading end to end experience with designing, building and shipping software as part of a cross-functional empowered product team.
• Experience working across both consumer and SaaS products and can demonstrate the application of your skills equally effectively in both
• Experience designing for a world-class app-based consumer experience.
• Extensive experience of interaction design with knowledge defining and evangelising how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how these innovations will scale.
• Extensive visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, colour, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.
• Experience representing work to senior executives, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.
