Senior Product Designer, Collaborative Tools

Collaboration is one of the most important aspects of being on a team. At Roblox, we want to empower creator teams to achieve their vision through the cooperation of teamwork. As a Senior Product Designer on the Collaborative Tools team, you will help Roblox Studio become the best collaborative IDE in the world. Your designs will facilitate collaborative workflows such as inviting collaborators, managing collaborator permissions, communication, conflict resolution, and version management. You will report to the Product Design Manager, Collaborative Development.

You Are:

• Experienced, 4+ years of experience as a UX designer
• Collaborative and able to promote teamwork with partners and team members
• Investigative, someone who understands user behavior by using standard user research methodologies, persona formation and usability testing
• Motivated, you are constantly building expertise with multiple tools, platforms and methodologies
• You have a precise hand for good typography, layout, color, animation, micro-interactions, and specifications

You will:

• Collaborate with UX research, Developer Relations, and Data Science to learn how creator teams work together
• Work with Product and Engineering to understand goals, product goals, success metrics, and technical constraints to guide your design explorations
• Work with other partners on collaborative workflows throughout the entire Roblox ecosystem
• Help envision the future of collaboration
• Have opportunities to present your work to executive leadership
• Can collaborate with other designers and contribute to team culture and processes
