Senior Product Designer job at Big Health

In this role, you will design intuitive and engaging experiences that help people better their mental health. Translate clinical methods into compelling digital features and come up with completely new ways to help people. You will help define the future of digital therapy, and set strategy on how we make quality mental health care accessible to everyone, wherever and whenever they need it.

What you'll do:

Own the design vision and end-to-end execution of new user experiences that improve the real world efficacy of our digital therapeutic products
Partner closely with product managers, clinical experts, engineers, and content creators to find innovative, elegant, and practical solutions to design challenges.
Explore a wide range of design solutions, and rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes that will be tested with real people and iterated on.
Incorporate user research insights, clinical perspectives, and strategic objectives to deepen our understanding of our users, their interactions with our product, and the future for digital health programs
Mentor other designers and cultivate a strong design culture within and beyond the Design team to support Big Health’s mission to bring millions back to good mental health

What you bring:

Ability to frame problems creatively, come up with a range of design solutions, and articulate the trade-offs between different options.
Ability to empathize and understand people with diverse background and needs, especially those with different mental health conditions
Comfortable with ambiguity and have shown an ability to bring clarity and structure to complex systems or user experience challenges.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering beautiful and functional design
Strong communication skills, from interviewing people to presenting work
Collaborative and flexible working style; able to receive, synthesize, and incorporate feedback, and work in a fast-paced startup environment
Highly organized self-starter; able to manage multiple streams

Other Requirements:

A minimum of five years of product design experience
An online portfolio demonstrating your process, your designs, and the impact of your work
Behavior design experience is a huge plus!
