This role is based in Miami, Florida. You must be based in this area or be willing to relocate to be considered for this position.

The difference you will make:
We are looking for a Sr. Product Designer to join our design team, where you will guide projects through their entire lifecycle, starting from conceptualization to production. This involves establishing a clear vision, crafting design solutions, creating prototypes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing implementation processes, and actively collaborating with fellow designers, researchers, product managers, analysts, and engineers.
A typical day:
- Provide strategic direction and vision for design initiatives, aligning them with business goals, user needs, and market trends.
- Take part in user research, analyze user feedback, and translate insights into actionable design solutions that enhance user satisfaction and usability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration of design objectives with overall product goals.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, mockups, and interactive designs to visualize concepts, validate ideas, and iterate based on user feedback and testing.
- Develop and maintain design systems, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products and platforms.
- Lead design reviews, critique sessions, and iterative design processes to refine and improve design solutions, incorporating feedback and insights from various stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate design concepts, strategies, and rationales to stakeholders, advocating for user-centric design principles and best practices.
- Help plan, conduct, and analyze user testing sessions, usability studies, and A/B tests to validate design decisions, identify areas for improvement, and optimize user experience.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in design practices, ensuring that products are usable and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, design tools, and best practices to continually enhance design skills, methodologies, and approaches.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product design with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, including web, mobile, and responsive design solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Experience in leading design projects from concept to completion, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing.
- Knowledge of design systems, component-based design, and front-end development principles is a plus.
