Senior Product Designer

We’ve recently raised our Series A funding for the next phase of our company roadmap, so we’re expanding the product design team to meet the coming, new challenges. 

Senior Product Designer at Banked 

As a Senior Product Designer at Banked, you will work closely with Product Design Leadership, Product Owners, and Engineers, to shape and drive our US payments experience.

You will be part of a small but growing global team delivering across the full end-to-end Product Design process, from research to final polished design.

Your main focus will be the US market, understanding the nuances of our ‘Pay by Bank’ solution within your regional payments ecosystem and ensuring those around you are leveled up.

About you 

• Design and iterate on the most complex regional projects
• Own the US payment experience, ensuring it is best in class
• Create well polished interactive prototypes to support the communication of your ideas and concepts
• Work with Product Design Leadership to influence the US product priorities and roadmap
• Use storytelling to help Product and Sales in US to deliver a product narrative to support the business growth
• Work with Product Design Leadership to influence the global design team priorities, roadmap and processes.
• Own and maintain knowledge of competitors and users in your region to inform the work in your region and educate the wider business
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research in US to help validate ideas & product performance for your region
• Be a steward for our global design system and patterns
• Bring a Growth Mindset where you embrace learning, peer feedback and continuously iterating your design processes

We are looking for someone who

• Can demonstrate a robust and rigorous Product Design process that they follow and can upskill others in
• Is very comfortable solving complex problems with functional, delightful interfaces
• Can communicate ideas, process and rationale effectively with peers and cross functional stakeholders
• Is constantly looking at ways to provide more value to the team and wider business
• Wants to share their knowledge and understanding with those around them to help grow and upskill the team.
• Is fast becoming and expert in all facets of Product Design (Research, UI, UX, and visual design)
• Will helps support other US teams (such as sales/marketing) with design support when called upon
• Knows Figma inside out and can up-skill those around them, but has an extensive array of design tool capabilities to choose from and deploy at the right time
