Welcome to the intersection of creativity, technology, and sustainability! At Elli, we aren’t just designing digital products: we are playing an instrumental role in shaping electromobility, smart energy and sustainable solutions. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for the user experience and visual design of one of our products, conceptualizing and implementing compelling designs that align with Elli's brand vision and business objectives. You will report to the Team Lead of Product Design and collaborate closely with your Design Lead and cross-functional development team to shape the future of Elli Digital Design with style, passion and a dash of eco-friendly pizzazz.

• Operationally own projects from the UX/UI perspective through all stages of research, design, development, and go-to-market activities, maintaining a high bar for quality and impact on the user experience.
• Carry out hands-on design tasks, translating design concepts into tangible, visually compelling solutions. Independently manage assignments and make informed design decisions to improve the overall user journey.
• Work with peer product managers, product marketing and engineers to break down complex problems, define hypotheses, craft success measures, and thoughtfully iterate from “minimal lovable” to mature, best-in-class product experiences.
• Passionately advocate for Elli’s user needs throughout the entire product lifecycle. Apply design thinking methodologies to consistently coach stakeholders towards user-centricity.
• Apply best practices in interaction and visual design for relevant platforms (iOS, Android) to design product features and contribute to the evolution of Elli's design guidelines and design system.

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Design, UX/UI, Multimedia, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Additional certifications in design methodologies are a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design, preferably in the tech or energy sector, with a focus on mobile applications (iOS, Android).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design, UX Research, visual design, and design thinking expertise. Extra points for hands-on experience with Design System topics.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with other design and prototyping tools being an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly. German is a plus. 
• Experience in leading or participating in user research and usability testing are a plus.
