Senior Product Design Manager, Productivity

Webflow is a visual web development platform that empowers non-coders to create incredible experiences for the web. 

Design plays a central role in our company, especially since many of our customers are designers. Our teams are focused on solving the most important customer needs while maintaining a high bar for quality, and each core product area has at least one product designer embedded as a key partner.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Design Manager to lead our Foundation product pillar which includes Productivity (Design Systems) and Platform. This pillar lead will grow a small team of designers (2-3). This role is ideal for designers who desire a hybrid role of contributing to the product work with the support of a small group of designers.

As a Senior Product Design Manager, you’ll … 

• Drive product design strategy for the pillar’s Productivity team (Design Systems), hire and manage 2 direct reports to start
• Drive our design system efforts to empower designers and engineers to be more productive
• Develop systems for internal teams and external developers to extend Webflow's core product surfaces and develop powerful new capabilities with a unified visual language.
• Guide product design teams how to use, maintain, and contribute to Webflow’s Design System
• Work with cross-functional leads to influence team vision, strategy, and roadmap

About you

• Are a systems thinker and thrive on technical challenges of designing building blocks that are extensible
• Can break down large, complex problems into discrete projects and work with other product designers as an influential individual contributor
• Can navigate and quickly move forward within a scaling company building a complex product
• Find fulfillment in mentoring other product designers as an individual contributor
• Have a desire to work on creative an authoring tools that build for builders
