The Gig

The Tock Marketing team is looking for a Copywriting Intern to assist with writing, editorial, and proofreading tasks. Our Marketing team is passionate about uplifting the restaurant industry and supporting each and every business on our platform. We are a rapidly growing team that prides itself on creativity, teamwork, and constant evolution.

This is an opportunity for you to work directly with Tock's senior copywriter and marketing team at large, drafting copy for both B2B and B2C marketing materials.

This position will be from May 23rd, 2022 through August 12th, 2022, working Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm.

You will report directly to the Senior Copywriter and will be a part-time remote or in-office position in Chicago.

You'll Get To...

• Draft copy for Tock's email program, including city specific restaurant guides that go to consumers weekly
• Assist in writing copy for various B2B and B2C marketing materials
• Research and draft posts for Tock's blog
• Write various social media posts to help promote specific restaurant experiences.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Hospitality & Tourism or a related discipline
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Team player mentality
• Curiosity about how a brand continues to leverage digital and social media in new ways to achieve goals
• Creative individuals who are willing to put ideas on the table
• A background in hospitality is a bonus, but not necessary.
