With a sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we’re able to hire eligible candidates for this role from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Poland . If this sparks your interest, apply today and chat with our friendly Recruitment team further.

As a Senior Group Product Manager, you will lead a team of passionate Group Product Managers and Principal Product Managers at Atlassian Data Centre, and advance our mission to unleash the potential in every team by driving our enterprise strategy for on-prem editions of our products like Jira Software, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
You will focus on strategic pillars for the Data Centre product line: scaling our products to deliver performance, high availability, flexible deployment, and centralised control across the Atlassian suite of products. Your work will impact thousands of customers including some of the leaders in their industries.

More about you;
You love working closely with customers and solving complex enterprise problems. You have prior success driving strategies focused on customer retention and success. You are effective in inspiring a team through setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to all audiences. You are passionate about working with a cross-functional, geographically distributed team to build and deliver mission-critical capabilities for customers. You’ve got charisma in spades: you’re social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to make sure we are all on the same page.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • Extensive product management experience, ideally working on mature products for enterprise customers
  • Experience leading teams of product managers including managing managers and/or senior team members to achieve their best
  • Experience building a shared vision, empowering your teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Proven success at hiring, managing, and growing a globally distributed team remotely
  • Significant experience defining the product vision, strategy, and delivering value that solves problems for enterprise customers
  • You are customer-centric, and enjoy working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful products
  • Strong in prioritising among opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions
  • Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire your teams and senior stakeholders
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. Comfortable defining and tracking key business and success metrics
  • An effective relationship builder and are able to influence without authority

It's great, but not required if you have:

  • BS/BA with an emphasis in technology, IT or operations; Masters or MBA preferred
  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)
  • Experience with building out infrastructure at scale, including AWS, Docker, Azure
  • Previous experience in the fields of project management, collaboration, and enterprise software.
