DUTIES:  Responsible for program management for the Visual/Marketing Design team. Handle significant volume of simultaneous projects (40+) for a fast-paced marketing/visual design team using project management tools (such as Jira, Monday.com, etc.) to enable transparency and manage workloads; gauge level of effort, timeline, and complexity for projects of varying size and scope; serve as go-to point of contact for intake, tracking and reporting on visual design project status, ensuring designers have the information needed to complete their work; define scope with appropriate stakeholders for accurate resourcing and planning, including discussions around deliverables, timelines, level of effort, and budget; communicate with stakeholders about priorities, roadblocks, and dependencies; develop QA processes to ensure designs are shipped correctly and accurately; create easy-to-find documentation, robust processes and best practices, facilitate rollout, adoption, and training on new tools and processes, spot gaps in existing processes, and create better or new processes in their place; work with or create robust organizational frameworks and project management documentation, such as budget sheets, minimum viable product docs, timelines and gantt charts; facilitate key meetings such as design brainstorms, stakeholder meetings, retrospectives, stand-ups, and kickoffs; establish and maintain a design toolkit, including templates, brand guidelines, best practices, etc.; work within an agency environment, managing projects with external agencies and managing contractor hours and budget; work with remote team members and stakeholders; build and manage relationships across an organization- work closely with PMs, designers, developers, marketers, content writers, stakeholders and approvers; make data-informed decisions; and create knowledge-sharing resources to support repeatable processes and practices across project management teams. Telecommuting acceptable; must be able to return to work in Office in San Francisco Bay Area once Covid restrictions are lifted.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Design, Creative Arts, Interactive Media, or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role in Project Management in a design setting.

SKILLS: Experience and/or education must include:

1. Project management tools such as Jira or Monday.com;
2. Certified Scrum Product Owner certification;
3. Knowledge sharing and management using Confluence;
4. Remote communication tools, such as Slack, and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, WebEx, etc.);
5. Creating, storing, and sharing documentation related to project teams through Google Drive;
6. Creating budget sheets for project teams;
7. Design proofing tool(s), such as ProofHQ or Ziflow; and
8. Marketing deliverables, including print collateral, digital ads, tradeshow collateral, digital website designs, video and animation, and custom slide decks. 

JOB SITE: 1633 Broadway, 38th Floor, New York, NY 10019. Telecommuting acceptable; must be able to return to work in Office in San Francisco Bay Area once Covid restrictions are lifted.

SALARY: $135,600 per year
