Senior Design Operations Manager (all genders)

We are looking for a Senior Design Operations Manager (1-year contract) to join our Design Team in Berlin. 

You Will

• Champion design excellence by partnering with design team members to shape, refine, and elevate design initiatives that align with our organizational goals.
• Assess and enhance design processes, tools, systems, and asset management practices to support and scale high-quality design work across teams.
• Collaborate with Research Operations and cross-functional partners to create seamless, designer workflows and foster a culture of design-led innovation.
• Co-own and cultivate a team culture that fosters collaboration, inclusivity, and growth, driving the advancement of the design craft. 

You Have

• 5+ years of experience in product design, design operations, or design leadership, with a strong portfolio of driving impactful design outcomes.
• Deep expertise in design quality standards, design systems, and the end-to-end product design lifecycle.
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects with varying timelines and adapt to unexpected changes effectively.
• A passion for advancing the craft of design operations, with a track record of fostering innovation, growth, and design excellence.
• Excellent prioritization and time-management skills, with experience working in agile methodologies.
