Senior Design Manager, Adopt

Team Description 

Pendo is a multi-app platform that gives users a better understanding of how their targeted applications are being used. Engage gives product teams a better understanding of their own product and how it’s being used, and Adopt gives organizations a better understanding of how their employees experience products that their organization uses, both ones they’ve built, and ones they’ve purchased. With both apps Pendo users are able to remove roadblocks, clarify, guide, and generally improve the experience leading toward better engagement and productivity.

Role Responsibilities

• Understand team health, build relationship with team
• Evolve the Adopt vision
• Ramp up on Adopt and it’s uses
• Work across business unit to prioritize key design challenges
• Continue delivery on key initiatives already in flight
• Work on roadmap for Design in Adopt working backwards from vision to tactical
• Focus designers on the top priorities and give design feedback
• Connect with broader Pendo design team and collaborate on best practices and common patterns

Minimum Qualifications

• Has managed a growing team and understands the challenges that IC’s face and can help them through them.
• Growth mindset, ability to learn quickly while delivering great product
• Product design background working on enterprise SaAS
• Deeply collaborative with cross functional teams
• Lives pendo core values

Preferred Qualifications

• Understands and can use figma design systems
• Understands roles and permissions of a product
