About the team

You’ll be working with a team of dedicated, passionate creatives who put collaboration at the heart of everything they do. The Marketing Creative team lives integrity in terms of SumUp’s mission and vision — everything we do is about supporting small business owners, by creating meaningful and relevant multi-channel marketing campaigns, addressing our merchants’ needs and challenges. What you’ll be doing in this job:

  • Motivate, inspire, and mentor the global creative team
  • Bring our Design capabilities and working methodologies to the next level. Streamline the interplay of Design, Content, Strategy, and Comms
  • Lead and inspire a team of 10+ designers to help develop globals as well as localized branded marketing campaigns in the countries that we are active in
  • Influence how we approach projects, conduct workshops, develop brand and marketing design. Improve our design tooling and processes to ensure the design team is as effective, efficient and calm as it can be
  • Engage with marketing leads to understand the holistic opportunities of growth and development within the design team

The role is based on-site in our office in Berlin.

You’ll be great for this role if:

  • You have managed large, multi-disciplinary teams of creatives.
  • You are able  to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to assure high-quality output and viable execution.
  • You are an experienced creative with a marketing background and have built multi-channel/ 360 campaigns, across multiple markets.
  • You have experience working digital tools, e.g. DAM, brand portals, JIRA.
  • You are able to manage multiple priorities and work in fluid environments.
  • You’re passionate and driven to take on the growth and evolution of an eclectic multi-disciplinary creative team.
