Design the product experience that makes Chatarmin impossible to ignore.
We are building the operating layer for e-commerce brands in DACH. Bootstrapped, fast-growing, and competing directly with companies that have raised $100M+. We do not intend to look smaller, move slower, or accept worse product quality because of that.
The goal is simple: win the category.
We are looking for a UX / UI Design Engineer who can take ownership of how Chatarmin feels. Someone who notices when an interaction is merely correct, then pushes it until it feels premium. Someone who cares about taste, speed, clarity, motion, spacing, and the small details users never consciously notice but always feel.
This is not a playground. It is a real startup with high pace, high standards, and very little corporate nonsense. You should be autonomous, disciplined, and comfortable turning ambiguity into shipped product.
Design and ship product surfaces that feel fast, obvious, and premium.
Turn customer problems into clear UX flows, not just pretty screens.
Prototype in Figma, then bring the best ideas into production React.
Use motion intentionally: state changes, feedback, transitions, and moments that make the product feel alive.
Talk to customers to understand the “why” behind new features before shaping the interface.
Improve existing flows until they feel simpler, sharper, and easier to trust.
Keep the frontend buttery-smooth across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
Build reusable UI patterns so polish compounds instead of living in one-off details.
3+ years across frontend development, UX, and product interface design.
Strong React, TypeScript, CSS, and Tailwind experience.
A portfolio with real product work, not just clean Dribbble shots.
Taste. You can point to a detail and explain why it works.
Strong Figma skills and the ability to move quickly from concept to implementation.
Experience with motion libraries like Motion, Framer Motion, GSAP, or similar.
A practical understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and frontend performance.
You work well under pressure, take ownership, and do not wait for perfect specs.
You care about the best software on the internet and want to build at that level.
A young, highly motivated team with zero ego.
Speed over politics. Good ideas should ship.
Direct ownership of the product experience.
Real impact on a company that is early enough for your work to matter and ambitious enough for it to scale.
A place to build your career, not just complete tickets.
Strong base pay with performance upside. Output matters here.
Salary €70k - €200k
