CJ has an opening for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the Creative Team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will help conceptualize and execute on a variety of creative projects across all our marketing touchpoints, in both digital and print. Your primary focus will be in web design, where you will be responsible for updating and improving all our web experiences. You will work closely with the Creative, Web Dev and Marketing teams to produce high quality designs that continue to elevate and evolve the CJ brand.

Our Graphic Designers have a finely honed sense of composition and an eye for layouts. They know how to create a strong visual hierarchy and communicate information effectively through design. We would like to see a strong portfolio, demonstrating real-world design examples in both web and print.

*What you will be doing:*

• Take the lead on conceptualizing, wireframing and designing all web related projects
• Apply best practices in web design to maintain and improve the overall user-experience of our websites
• Audit our websites to help determine areas for improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute designs in both digital and print
• Create compelling designs to support websites, events, presentations, print advertising, award ceremonies, and more
• Stay current with design trends, technology and tools
• Work directly with team members to help determine projects and priorities
• Clearly communicate with web developers from delivery of assets through 

• 5+ years’ experience preferred; selection will be based on quality and relevance of portfolio rather than years of experience/education
• Must be proficient and highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, hierarchy, and layout
• In-depth knowledge of web design principles and best practices
• Ability to look at a written marketing brief and help tell a story on a web page
• Experience with mobile-first design / responsive design
• UX experience (website usability integrated with interactive elements)
• UI experience (buttons, navigation and micro interactive elements)
• Experience working with a CMS
• General understanding of CSS
• Experience or interest in interactive prototyping
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also collaborative and driven by group critique
