Senior Content Designer

About the team:

We're looking for an experienced Content Designer to join us on our mission to build intuitive product experiences that make financial wellness accessible to everyone. This role is on the Growth team, where we focus on engaging and empowering our customers to discover all that Robinhood offers. To start, you’ll focus on the notifications' strategy across touchpoints, considering how customers get the right messages at the right time. You may be a good match if you're passionate about systems thinking, creating scalable solutions, and crafting product content that educates and helps people navigate the world of finance.

In Office role

This role is based in our Menlo Park or NYC office, dependent on applicant’s location.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Partner with design, product, and research to build fabulous user experiences and craft the product roadmap
• Engage throughout the product development process to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency
• Lead partners through content-first frameworks, workshops, and strategy
• Build and advocate for clear, concise, and understandable language that best communicates our mission externally
• Develop frameworks, guidelines, audits, and processes to help define and improve product content at Robinhood
• Design content that drives meaningful customer experiences while positively impacting business impact
• Incorporate user research into content decisions for product experiences
• Ensure high quality content for our products through simplicity, education, and delightfulness
• Share your work with other Content Designers and provide feedback during weekly crits

About you:

• 4+ years helping people through understandable Content Design or UX Writing
• Ability to think, concept, and create at a systems level
• Eagerness to shape product direction and vision from ideation through post-launch
• Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on content metrics through effective communication and presentation
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting constraints
• Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and user researchers
• Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process
• A portfolio or selection of writing samples and past work to share
