We're hiring a Senior Content Designer to join our Data Center team. Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket Data Center are Atlassian's on-premise offers, used by some of our largest and most complex customers. You will focus on one of these products and own the information experience in that space. You will work with multiple product designers and development teams.

What you'll do

Refine and drive content strategy, and apply the Atlassian voice and tone in a way that drives engagement with enterprise users.
Work closely with the design, PM, marketing, and development teams to understand customer insights, the purpose of features and how best to explain them to the right audience.
Deliver effective UX writing and longer form explanatory content (documentation, how-to articles, tutorials, etc.) on time and with quality.

Your background

Excellent writing and communication skills.
A love for technical content - deeply understand the technical aspects of a product and translate that to a general audience.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams - including product managers, engineers, designers, marketing, and support.
A proven track record of working and managing projects in an agile environment.
An understanding of how content drives business objectives.
5+ years of professional UX writing and/or technical writing experience.
Experience using design thinking and design processes (critique, user journeys, personas) to improve or validate your work.
Experience in improving or building both information architecture and content strategies.
Experience creating content for enterprise organizations.
