Senior Brand Designer, Unfold

Brand design is what Squarespace is known for. We go to great lengths to ensure every touchpoint of the product and brand are as beautiful and impactful as possible. As a modern creative organization, we hire aesthetically-driven designers who have a strong process that can be applied across a range of deliverables. 

In this specific role, we’re looking for a designer to own the brand design deliverables of the Unfold App, which is part of our suite of Squarespace products and allows our users to create, edit, style, plan, and publish their social media content. You will be challenged in an organization that values vision, execution and creativity. 

Successful candidates should have a portfolio that demonstrates familiarity with defining and executing brand identities, creating designs for marketing and social campaigns, ability to design and execute creative animations for digital applications, as well as the ability to maintain an overarching brand aesthetic across different channels.

You will report to the Senior Brand Design Manager in our New York office.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience as a designer at agencies, studios or in-house.
• Strong understanding of steps necessary to take a project from concept to launch.
• Broad awareness of design and technology trends. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and Figma.
• Experience with Keynote, prototyping tools are a plus.
