Senior Brand Designer

At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone. We have a broad community of over 5 million customers, many of whom are very engaged, and some of whom we'd like to get closer to.

We are looking for a talented Brand Designer to join our Design & Research team. You will be working across brand campaigns, creating direction for new features we launch, as well as designing for our owned channels.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Brand Designer to join our Design & Research team. You will work closely with other Brand designers, as well as managing 2-3 Marketing Designers. You will have creative input across all marketing channels, create art direction for new products we are launching, and work on exciting brand campaigns.

You will work closely with the other Brand Designers at developing and producing Monzo’s creative assets. Whether it’s directing photoshoots, developing our card designs or producing illustrations to be used across the company, you will ensure the brand is kept fresh and exciting.

You will be a brand guardian for the business, ensuring all designs are kept on-brand and of high quality. We love designers to come in with insights, ideas and concepts that will help take our brand to the next level.

You should apply if you have:

• Experience in designing for multi-channel campaigns, and seeing projects through from development to launch
• An excellent portfolio, showing relevant design experience
• Worked in a design role in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working autonomously
• Able to work and collaborate with people across all levels and departments to solicit requirements from a brief to ensure all creative output delivers on the needs of the business
• Experience with briefing and working with external agencies on projects and campaigns
• Knowledge and understanding of Adobe creative suite and Figma

Bonus

• Experience managing other Designers
• Prior experience at high-growth startups
• Able to create animations with After Effects or experience with editing video in Premiere Pro
• Experience with 3D software like Cinema 4D or Blender

Logistics

Salary is between £60,000- £75,000 (dependant on experience) plus stock options and other benefits.
