How you can help make a better world of work

We’re looking for an experienced brand designer to join Culture Amp’s creative team within the marketing practice with a focus on campaign creative and growth activities. You will work closely with cross functional marketing teams, to build impactful experiences across innovative marketing campaigns and brand building programs.

You are a design generalist, who brings curiosity to everything you do. You know how to tell an engaging story and skilfully take stakeholders and collaborators on the journey with you. You’re equipped with strong conceptual skills and have what it takes to bring ideas to life through polished execution and continuous iteration and learning. A successful brand designer brings together innovative ideas, design thinking, craft and collaboration to drive successful projects and outcomes.

As part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will 

  • Drive creative direction and execute campaign concepts through thoughtful brand application
  • Create a broad range of multi-channel brand content and design concepts to enhance campaign narratives and translate these into a wide range of compelling communication assets. These could include campaign concepts and identities, editorial content, reports, social media assets, video, user interface design or digital experiences
  • Inspire, motivate and collaborate with a team of mixed creative disciplines; designers, illustrators, photographers, motion designers and video editors to guide and art direct high quality design outcomes
  • Utilise and build on existing brand guidelines to build new, fresh creative
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in marketing and across the business – growth marketing, product marketing, events, community, content, brand and digital to uplevel project delivery
  • Present design vision and solutions to stakeholders, communicate the impact of design in solving business problems, rationalise decisions and incorporate feedback
  • Facilitate creative workshops and ideation sessions with the creative team and collaborators to drive campaign and project execution

You have 

  • 5+ years working as a brand designer in-house, or equivalent agency experience. Experience working in a fast growth business is highly desirable
  • A portfolio that shows strong strategic and conceptual campaign thinking applied across a range of mediums, including content, physical, experiential, digital, and video (please include with application)
  • Proven experience in working with and guiding a multidisciplinary creative teams to deliver complex brand and design projects end-to-end
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to connect and simplify complex ideas and evolving project requirements 
  • Strong judgment in decision making, managing and communicating trade-offs when collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate the ‘why’, and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions
  • Required technical skills and program competencies:
    • High proficiency with Figma (or Sketch) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
