Senior Brand Designer

Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing (i.e. should we pay this claim?), while often overlooked, is the foundation of the entire industry. It’s currently highly manual, involving phone calls, faxes, and gut instinct—costing tens of billions of dollars a year. We can do better.

At Assured, we provide large insurers the software solutions they need to win in a modern, technology-driven world. From self-service claim filing software, to backend fraud detection, we’re the engine that powers claims processing for some of the largest insurers in the world.

As we continue to grow our marketing efforts, we need a Senior Brand Designer to conceptualize and execute campaigns while maintaining a high bar for brand consistency and visual polish.

You will…

💻 Develop concepts for marketing campaigns and assets across multiple channels, with a particular focus on Assured’s website and larger integrated campaigns.

🎨 Deep understanding of typography, color theory, grids and more.

🤝 Hands-on design of marketing assets with pixel-perfect precision for high-exposure campaigns.

🔒 Act as brand guardian and the final seal approval for all customer-facing assets produced by other design team members, ensuring that guidelines and quality standards are followed consistently.

🛠 Project manage larger campaigns, including delegation to other team members and giving direction and feedback along the way.

⭐️ Contribute to the development of Assured’s brand identity by helping to maintain and organize our design system and asset library.

You have…

💼 7+ yrs experience in brand and marketing design for cutting-edge technology products, with a varied and polished portfolio to show for it.

🏢 Expert on web design process, including creating Information Architecture, wire-framing, prototyping, familiar with workingwith frontend engineers and QA.

🏠 Prior experience leading larger marketing or advertising campaigns, either in-house or at agencies.

⚙️ Proficiency with collaborative design tools like Figma.

🔥 Bonus points for having implemented designs for interactive websites with Webflow.

🗣 Strong cross-functional communication skills, with an ability to quickly translate briefs from non-design stakeholders in sales, finance and product into compelling mockups and visual concepts, and the ability to justify and explain design choices back to those same stakeholders.

😌 A diplomatic and calm approach to giving constructive practical feedback to other designers and stakeholders.
