The Toast Product Marketing team is responsible for connecting the sales, product, and marketing teams by gathering market insights to inform product development and bringing new products to market through customer segmentation, value-based messaging, sales knowledge transfer, and cross-functional marketing activation.

In this role you will help accelerate Toast’s growth by supporting initiatives that allow product marketers to work more efficiently and effectively. You’ll design processes and support programs that streamline the core activities product marketers execute every day: commercialization, sales enablement, messaging and positioning, and GTM strategy. This role is well suited for a candidate considering a career in Product Marketing and looking for broad exposure to the function.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Conduct audit of existing processes for recurring activities (such as power stat development, quarterly promotions support, sales newsletters, sales collateral development and management, etc. ), define and execute project plans to optimize, and enable team to adopt

  • Support Sr PMM, Commercialization in program management of monthly commercialization Steering Committee and LOB interlocks

  • Support Director, PMM Solutions in program management of quarterly sales enablement calendar planning

  • Support PMM Solutions team members in executing initiatives and programs that improve how our platform is launched, positioned, sold, and implemented 

  • Become the ‘resident expert’ on Toast PMM operations and proactively identify opportunities for our team to work more efficiently and propose solutions to meet those needs

  • Exceptional project management skills – can autonomously lead projects, keep stakeholders informed, and maintain organized documentation across many simultaneous projects.

  • Experience in a highly collaborative environment that can span product marketing, product management, marketing, sales, sales enablement and more.

  • Growth-mindset – eager to take on a wide variety of projects to learn and grow skillset, scope and experience over time. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to build strong, compelling story lines and recommendations that are deeply evidenced in both quant and qual research to move cross-functional teams, sales, and customers to action. 

  • Emotional intelligence - ability to empathize with fellow Toasters, our customers, and their guests - with an eye for the ‘bigger picture’

  • Experience with Salesforce and Looker preferred, but not required 

  • Hospitality industry experience [and / or passion for eating at restaurants] is a plus.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
Pay Range
$92,000$147,000 USD
