How you’ll make an impact:

In this role you’ll lead the creation and delivery of world class technical content that supports the partner sales team to articulate the value of Xero’s platform and win deals with our accountants and bookkeepers. Your content will focus on supporting the removal of technical blockers to the sale, typically managed by Xero’s Partner Consultant teams.

You will be joining a strategic, cross-functional team focused on improving sales results and productivity by offering integrated content, training and coaching for the partner sales team and sales leaders along the entire partner journey, powered by technology, utilising data.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with a global sales experts, technology experts and the product specialists to scope and design fit-for-purpose content that support the technical aspects of our sales motions 
  • Use content authoring tools and visual design tools to create content that could include  job aids, process docs, pitch decks, one-sheeters or other sales collateral 
  • Ensure that all materials and collateral are kept up to date with the latest product changes, narrative updates and the correct positioning 
  • Help to define and execute on a content strategy, inclusive of measurement, the helps us effectively prioritise a pipeline of content and updates, and ensures we are always making the best use of our resources to create world-class sales content 
  • Creating a feedback loop to understand what content lands, what needs refining, and where future efforts should be prioritised
  • Proactively understand and manage risks as they relate to your role
  • Proactively understand and manage compliance and regulatory obligations for your areas of responsibility

What you'll bring with you:

  • 2+ years Experience in Partner Consulting at Xero or similar technical sales role
  • Experience using/working with Saas sales processes
  • Experience in developing interactive, engaging and effective technical sales content 
  • Experience with project management and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of Xero’s core business and products
  • Ability to scope, design, develop, implement, and evaluate technical sales content 
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to exercise integrity and sound judgement in complex ambiguous situations
  • Process driven with ability to take ownership, plan and work autonomously
  • An ability to distil complex concepts into simple, readable language
