Sales & Ops Data Product Manager - Talend

TheFork connects restaurants and diners. Through TheFork’s website and mobile application, as well as through TripAdvisor®, users can easily select a restaurant according to their preferences, consult user reviews, check real-time availability and instantly book online. We also provide restaurants with a software solution, TheFork Manager, that enables them to optimize reservation management, control their online presence, streamline operations and ultimately improve service and revenues, following Yield Management principles which are used successfully in the travel industry.

Today, we are looking for a Product Manager to help the Sales & Ops XP Product Management team to scale up the Sales and Operations of the company worldwide. This position is based in Paris.

The main missions of the team are to:

• Drive Data Marketing, Sales and Customer Service and Operation, Partnership, Billing improvements through Data automation 
• Build data strategy, governance, and implementation of anything data-related across company
• Improve & provide data transfer and transformation to the internal teams, customer, partners among our ecosystems and databases to increase their productivity and well-being
• Facilitate strategic projects & with various domains (new Product roll-out, Optimization, Migration, Partnership, Marketing engagement, etc) in order to improve customer satisfaction and B2B/B2C experience 

You will join an agile and dynamic team in a fast moving, “scale-up” environment to build the Data, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service, Partnership of the future with your Data expertise. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will take part in an international organization that values strong execution, sharing and growing together.

Missions

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with TheFork Data team, Sales Ops and strategy teams, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Operations in Paris & Barcelona to contribute to projects: design data flow to scale the platform, prepare roll-outs, ensure best practices sharing...
• Work closely with the Talend engineering team based in Paris/ Milan and Salesforce technical team based in Nantes, in order to:
• Define product specifications, user stories and manage product backlog priorities in collaboration with other product managers from other domains
• Animate day-to day-sprints and participate to all Scrum meetings (StandUp, Review, Retrospective and Planning)
• Manage testing sessions to ensure quality of the deliveries

• Contribute to TheFork Strategic projects (e.g. ERB migration, Data initiatives, new product and business units, Partnership, Sales & Services Data) and Define Data & Talend product roadmap
• Benchmark good practices, solutions and provide technological watch
• Contribute to organize workshops for needs collection, process evolution
• Facilitate coordination with various stakeholders ( Data Team, local teams, Marketing, Sales and Operations Partnership other Product and Engineering)
• Proactively improve and challenge current internal processes to optimize and scale
• Make sure of the operationality of the feedback loop through the definition of product KPIs and monitoring

Requirements

• Min. 2 years experience in project management/ product management (ideally in a mobile or web environment)
• You have a good knowledge of Data analysis (SQL)
• A first experience in a ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Mulesoft). Knowledge on Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, Pardot is a plus
• Msc/Bac+5 (engineering school, business degree, master)
• Good English writing and speaking skills and Fluent French 
• Knowledge of agile projects management, Scrum techniques and the spirit of agile tools (ie. JIRA)
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Team player, proactive, autonomous, passionate, open minded with a touch of humor

The position is based in Paris with flexible remote work, with regular trips to Nantes and Barcelona.
