rOar Product Manager - FTC until July 2022

rOar is Publicis Groupe’s Project Management, Resource Management and Time Tracking tool. It is used by agencies that are on Altair, Publicis Groupe’s SAP implementation.

rOar is built around the leading enterprise PPM solution, Clarizen. Clarizen is a SaaS platform that allows a highly customized experience to its users.

rOar team is responsible for configuring Clarizen and building custom solutions on it to enable the 600+ agencies and 85k employees in the Groupe to be more efficient and effective.

We are looking for a UK based Product Managerto join our expanding Product Team, responsible for delivering the Publicis Groupe’s Project Management, Resource Management and Time Tracking tool.Your primary responsibility will be to analyse customer requirements, create functional specs and ensure the product features are delivered to the highest of standards

You should have a proven track record of analyzing complex requirements, translating these into functional user stories and delivering first class product features within a high volume, fast paced, agile software development team.Experience in working closely with a designer and a development team to ensure the requirements are clearly understood is essential as too is the need to have ample experience in carrying out quality assurance. 

You must also possess the ability to persuade and influence our customers to ensure the right solution is agreed as too the ability to manage multiple feature requests at one time.

The role is a global role, with a global customer base.The ability to flex your working pattern, on occasion, in order to accommodate customer meetings across the globe would be beneficial

• Analyse customers’ requirements
• Come up with solutions
• Wireframe the said solutions
• Liaise with designers to get the UX and UI right
• Test the wireframes and UIs on customers to get early feedback
• Create functional specifications
• Prioritise the user stories and gain sign off of the specification
• Write, review and approve test scripts
• Pass the design docs and requirements to developers
• Work with the Project Manager and the development team to ensure the stories set out in JIRA reflect the full delivery of the feature
• Test the solutions received from developers
• Carry out demonstrations of the new feature or the product as required
• Train the customer success manager and ensure release notes are correct
• Carry out data analysis to review product usage and review customer feedback
• Review competitor products and new technology to keep abreast of software developments
• Build and test Clarizen reports per the customer’s reporting requirements

• Must have excellent analytical skills with a focus on finding solutions to business problems via technology
• Must have a thorough understanding of the business and its commercial, information and technical requirements
• Knowledge of designing software end-to-end, i.e. from requirements analysis to design to implementation and to roll-out, is essential
• Experience in managing software applications that solve business problems is essential
• Creative problem solving skills are essential
• Must be a good communicator with the ability to persuade and influence
• Experience in customer relationship management is highly desirable
• Ability to continuously prioritise and manage a considerable workload
• Previous experience in Software as a Service business is desirable
• Clarizen knowledge is required
• Advanced Excel knowledge is desirable
