In this role you will be accountable for the Release Management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases.You are responsible for providing leadership and direction to the change management process and maintaining clarity and alignment across the organization.


What You Will Do

  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to plan and coordinate software releases
  • Own the release calendar including details on code freezes, deployments, and patch windows
  • Define deployment readiness criteria for each release and track adherence
  • Communicate release schedules, artifacts, and status to all stakeholders
  • Coordinate with development managers to ensure timely and accurate release notes
  • Conduct weekly release readiness review meetings and track progress across multiple teams
  • Identify and remediate complex deployment and scheduling conflicts across Engineering
  • Review current release process across the organization and propose changes to drive improved quality

Requirements

  • 5+ years' release or technical program/project management experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • 2-3 Years experience in SaaS delivery model is a must-have, in either B2B environments
  • Ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and Agile methodologies Experience in bringing creative ideas and proposals to development teams and executives supported by qualitative justification and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical individuals
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and direct a projects/programs to success
  • Technically savvy and able to identify delivery risks easily
  • Bachelors degree in management, business, computer science or other equivalent.
