About UX Research and the role
The UX Research function is part of AllTrails’ Design team and works across product, brand & marketing, and international initiatives at AllTrails to inform and deliver experiences that fulfill user needs. You will be the team’s 3rd research hire. As such, there are still many big questions to answer, practices & systems to develop, and far-reaching strategic decisions to inform. In short, this researcher will have ample opportunities to help shape the future of AllTrails for its users and the internal research practice.
In addition to conducting primary research, we also enable other AllTrails employees (such as designers and product managers) to learn and apply particular research methods to questions of interest. In partnership with the other researchers, you’ll play a role in shaping how we grow quantitative research skills and methods as core competencies for our organizational peers.
