Who we are & why we’re hiring

Twilio powers real-time business communications and data solutions that help companies and developers worldwide build better applications and customer experiences.

Although we're headquartered in San Francisco, we're on a journey to becoming a globally antiracist company that supports diversity, equity & inclusion wherever we do business. We employ thousands of Twilions worldwide, and we're looking for more builders, creators, and visionaries to help fuel our growth momentum.

About the job

This position is needed to provide portfolio management for our Professional Service offerings. You will manage the lifecycle of our service offerings from ideation and creation to end of life. Your ability to effectively collaborate and work with distributed, cross-functional teams is critical. Solutions are built on products and services. We need to be able to provide relevant Professional Service offers that can be consumed by builders, partners, IT managers or a line of business stakeholder.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Understand the market, help to identify new offer candidates, and provide an analysis on the viability of new offerings.
  • Own the new product introduction process for Professional Services and work with stakeholders to manage the product life cycle.
  • Drive the creation of service collateral and awareness, including internal training and external sales collateral.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to achieve product orderability and delivery readiness.
  • Analyze product performance and provide periodic updates to executive leadership

Qualifications

Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Twilio values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. While having “desired” qualifications make for a strong candidate, we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Required:

  • 3+ years of direct experience with Services Product Management in a Professional Services organization.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with resources at multiple levels in the organization to gather, prioritize and communicate requirements.
  • Experience creating service descriptions and other documentation
  • Great communication skills. You're equally at home on zoom presenting to an audience of developers as you are on a zoom talking to users and then coming up with product requirements. Your best days are the ones where you do both on the same day.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Desired:

  • Related product management industry certifications.

Location

This role will be remote, in the USA.

Approximately < 25% travel is anticipated.
