We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our Bank Feeds team in Wellington!
As part of the Bank Feeds team, you’ll be joining one of the cornerstones of what makes Xero incredible. Without us, Xero wouldn’t be where it is today. We work directly with the banks to implement and improve integrations, creating the links that make so many of Xero’s awesome product features possible. Our mission is to provide a simple, seamless and beautiful experience for our customers who seek to connect their financial data into Xero.
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for executing on our product vision, strategy and roadmap. You will work alongside a talented engineering pod. Your skillful product leadership and management of the pod’s backlog enables the pod to deliver compelling products and services that solve real problems for our customers.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience championing strategic priorities and helping others relate to and align with it.
- Product Ownership experience with a toolbox of modern product discovery practices to draw upon.
- Proven experience using a range of metrics to monitor the success and health of products and services.
- Proven experience of making evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. Proven experience building meaningful, collaborative relationships across all levels of the business.
- Proven experience advocating for a product or service with customers and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to create clarity for an engineering team — with an organised work style that is structured, rigorous and consistent.
