Product Owner - Webdam

About the role

We have a Product Owner role open at Bynder for our Webdam product, a digital asset management platform! We are looking for someone that can help us execute on our plans to deliver the best way for marketers and brand managers to  find and share creative files such as graphics, videos and documents that will  fuel their next marketing campaign.

We are looking for a Product Owner that can execute on a roadmap that you will collaborate on with the Product Manager of the domain and you will deliver on with the team. You and the team will be accountable for our Webdam DAM solution, making sure that our platform remains performant and innovative. You will work with a cross-functional team consisting of several Engineers (Frontend, Backend, QA and an offshore PO), the team is based in India. You and the team will take ownership over the Webdam DAM platform, including our end user focused product Brand Connect. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Group Product Manager of the domain. 

What you will be doing

As a Product Owner you are responsible for managing the product backlog. You enrich, structure and breakdown high level specs or requirements into actionable epics and user stories that the development team uses to deliver product features.

• Lead the development sprints and ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap set by the product manager.
• Turn customer issues into actionable user stories, prioritize the user stories, and arrange user stories in the product backlog.
• Ensure that the product strategy and vision is effectively communicated with the development team so that it is clear what to work on next and why it is important.
• Support the product manager in updating and maintaining internal and external documentation of deliverables. 
• Collaborate with UX and QA on acceptance testing processes and defining acceptance criteria.
• Provide feedback on the validated roadmap and collaborate with the product manager to ensure the most important issues are prioritized.
• Collaborate with the Agile lead to identify operational needs, problems and opportunities and contribute to the improvement of existing processes and organizations. 
• Act as a liaison between the development team and the Product Manager; Report on team progress of executing the roadmap against timelines and raise any dependencies to keep team focused on priorities
• Communicate and collaborate with other Product Owners across the platform.

What you bring

• Proactive product enthusiast with a technical mind-set who has the ability to transform business and user needs into tangible solutions. 
• 2+ years as a (technical) Product Owner/Manager in an Agile environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English both verbally and written
• Excellent communication skills 

Nice to have

• B2B/B2C experience with a commercial SaaS platform
• Experience with software project management tools like Jira/Confluence.
• Agile Scrum certified
