About the Role: 

Your mission is to elicit and evaluate business requirements, consult with stakeholders from Planet finance department and identify areas to automate and/or improve business processes. You will drive new or enhanced systems implementations, upgrades and integrations. You will learn and grow from both technical and business domain knowledge working with the best in class business systems portfolio. To succeed in this role, you’ll be an experienced product owner / business systems analyst who understands how business needs can be addressed through flexible, integrated systems solutions.

Impact You’ll Own:

• Play a strategic role in the evaluation, selection and design of the Planet’s business systems and integration solutions supporting finance teams
• Primary contact for queries related to finance business systems
• Collect requirements, assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with company strategy
• Complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards deliverables / commitments
• Own finance systems requirements backlog, system access management, configuration and integration
• Responsible for hands on finance systems configuration and testing
• Provide support to developers and contractors to build or enhance business systems  
• Work with 3rd party vendors and engineering teams to assess and take proactive steps to reduce technical debt and leverage new system capabilities.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of business systems implementation experience 
• Understanding of SDLC, prototyping, iterative development, and Agile principles
• Hands on experience configuring procurement, expense management, financial close, ERP and treasury systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a specific focus on explaining technology topics clearly and to a variety of audiences with varying technical sophistication
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Github
• Understanding of SOX and ISO27001 controls

• Systems experience with Coupa, Trip Actions and Netsuite
• CPO or CSM Agile certifications

Compensation (only applicable for Colorado applicants):

The base pay range targeted for this position in Colorado is: $60,300 - $122,000. This role is eligible for bonus, commission and equity.

The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, including experience, location, and other business considerations.

Planet is registered as an employer in many, but not all, states. If you are not able to work from a state where Planet is registered, you will not be eligible for employment.
