We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert on GRC systems and processes to join our Enterprise Technology Team (ET) with expertise in implementing a GRC tool (FastPath) to manage User Access Management, SoD Rulesets, Change Management processes for System changes for various Enterprise Applications including NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce (CPQ), Coupa and other applications within Asana’s ecosystem. You will partner with various cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of projects aligning to the requirements of various internal stakeholders and meeting their tactical and strategic objectives of the GRC platform.

The Enterprise Technology team is responsible for delivering scalable efficient processes, infrastructure, applications technology and data insights that help Asana achieve its mission. We partner across the company to drive transformations that result in growing our business, organizational effectiveness and efficiency. 

You will have strong business acumen, data and technology experience in addition to possessing excellent strategy, business partnering and collaboration skills. You take the initiative to identify high impact projects and work cross functionally to execute and realize Asana’s business strategy.  In this role you are overseeing a mission-critical part of the company, responsible for ensuring compliance across all of our key enterprise applications.

What you’ll achieve

  • Configure, maintain, enhance and integrate FastPath to manage various GRC functions for NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, Coupa and other enterprise applications.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to implement and execute compliance processes for SOX
  • Own and generate reports for purpose of audit/compliance
  • Design and build processes to optimize GRC on a global scale
  • Drive requirements, use cases, and prioritize project work to support time and cost constraints
  • Demonstrate an ability to analyze complex requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and come up with simple actionable user stories
  • Create accurate and clear technical documentation; develop support processes and procedures; and support hand-off to peers/organizational units
  • Perform functional testing of the technology platform to ensure that engineered processes meet the requirements of all involved project stakeholders and satisfy business needs.
  • Communication with stakeholders and individual users regarding new features, best practices, and Product usage
  • Establish trust and strong relationships with senior leaders, Ops, and other organizational units to achieve shared objectives
  • Act as an owner and ultimate escalation point for build and maintenance of the GRC Platform 
  • Ensure the highest level compliance for all Enterprise Applications

About You

  • 5+ years of experience with full lifecycle GRC Implementations (preferably for public companies)
  • Must have Hands on experience implementing FastPath
  • Preferred having experience with ERP (preferably NetSuite) and/or HCM (Workday)/CRM (Salesforce)/Procurement systems (Coupa) as it relates to application access, permissions, and segregation of duties for business processes
  • Good Understanding of SOX requirements as a public company
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders with clarity, and transparency
  • Strong analytical skills decomposing processes and systems to propose solutions to complex business problems
  • Ability to document and prototype business use cases and data flows
  • Ability to conduct a thorough impact assessment on the feasibility of existing systems
  • You are highly collaborative and can operate with cross functional teams

  • Effective influencer and communicator across teams and at all levels
  • Excellent decision-making and organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up skills
  • Preferably a BS/BA degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to work tasks
