Join the "Travel Member Experience product team" at Veepee as a Product Owner, and collaborate with a dedicated and skilled group of 1 Senior UX Designer, 1 Lead Developer, 3 Back End Developers, and 2 Front End Developers. Your mission is to enhance the member experience on Veepee Travel, working closely with business and marketing stakeholders.

You will focus on our travel search engine, flash sales templates, and SEO for both our website and mobile applications. Your role is pivotal in translating business goals into effective, actionable plans, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality services and tools.

We are specifically looking for a professional with experience in e-commerce environments (hospitality, retail, or online services) who understands conversion optimization strategies and has a proven track record of boosting conversion rates.

🎯 TASKS

As a Product Owner, your daily landscape will be diverse and dynamic. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
Strategy Implementation: Craft a clear strategy for the product that aligns with business objectives. Your role involves making this strategy actionable, guiding the product's direction with a focus on tangible outcomes.
Collaboration for Execution: Work closely with stakeholders to break down the product vision into prioritized services and tools. Your effectiveness in this area will drive the product forward, aligning closely with our business value.
Agile and Effective Leadership: Promote an agile working environment within your team and across business units, emphasizing adaptability and collaboration. Your leadership will ensure that the team remains focused and efficient.
Roadmap and Performance Management: Define the product's roadmap in line with the company's goals, regularly measuring and adjusting to ensure the team's performance aligns with these objectives.
Detailed Planning and Oversight: Draft detailed user stories and oversee task progress. Your meticulous planning and oversight will guarantee that the team has clear directions and resources to meet commitments with excellence.
User Story and Task Management: You will meticulously write user stories and monitor task progression. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure your team has everything they need to meet deadlines with quality and within budget.

👉 MUST HAVE skills

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for Business studies.
At least 5 years of experience in Product Ownership or Project Management, with a proven track record of delivering quality products on time.
Demonstrated expertise in e-commerce within hospitality, retail, and online services sectors.
Strong skills in creating and implementing product strategies that are directly linked to business outcomes.
Experienced in backlog management and task prioritization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Deep knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies to foster a productive and dynamic work environment.
Excellent teamwork capabilities, with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Proficient in both English and French, capable of clear and effective communication.

👉 NICE TO HAVE skills

Familiarity with JIRA for project management and task tracking.
Proficiency in using analytic tools for monitoring KPIs and measuring product success.
An understanding of user design principles and technical requirements, ensuring products meet user needs and technical specifications.
Awareness of the appropriate levels of testing required to maintain high-quality standards.
