As a Product Owner in the Digital Products domain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial tools and insights for businesses in the digital commerce sector.You will be responsible for designing, executing and tracking the evolution of our B2B digital products offering, working alongside Product Managers, Designers and Engineering to deliver cutting-edge financial workflows to customers.
You need to have a strong product background with an established track record of building and delivering large-scale applications while working in a fast paced, ambiguous Agile/Scrum environment within a regulated environment. You will also be responsible for evangelising bleeding edge products, constantly innovating and bringing excellent product focus within the organisation to ensure delivery meets Juni’s business objectives.
In this role you will:
Run cycle planning, refine product backlog, and prioritise delivery sequence to ensure work aligns with product vision
Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by engineering who will drive the how and when
Confirming the definition of "Done" as agreed during planning and refinement
Maintaining awareness of dependencies to ensure the backlog and cycle plans accurately reflects support of our larger product vision
Identify and manage the regulatory, compliance, and risk-related impact of our offering and ensure that these are appropriately addressed during delivery
Maintaining knowledge of future change requests in a well defined backlog for these to be considered when planning future cycles
Strike a balance between developing features, handling bugs, delivering on technical initiatives that drive scalability and resolving technical debt
Escalating risks to the PM and business stakeholders
Mitigate roadblocks to achieving cycle/release goals
Lead the launch planning and preparedness for feature releases
Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions
Within 1 month you will:

Ship many features and fix critical bugs 🐛
Set up insights that help your team make better decisions
Share your experience to make Juni's product function even better
Within 6 months you will:
Deliver against your growth metrics and roadmap (with some bumps along the way)
Maximise the efficiencie(s) of your team’s delivery methodologies
Play a key role in your team(s) role in our European expansion 🌎
What we need to see:
3 years product owner experience, or reasonable equivalent.
3 years experience working hands-on in the financial services space, ideally at a fintech startup developing digital products.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the financial technology industry in the UK and Europe (PSD2, EMR, SCA, GDPR, AML, etc).
Direct experience working for a regulated entity, with heavy focus on building innovative, compliant products following a risk-based approach.
You’ve got grit! You want to build an amazing product that pushes the boundaries of traditional finance.
Should have worked across the entire product lifecycle focused on delivering the product and scaling up, preferably in a B2B environment.
Ability to lead the execution of strategic and complex product roadmaps.
You are an easy person to work with and treat others with respect.
What we’d love to see:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field or equivalent experience
