Product Owner - Content Distribution

About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner that can help us take content distribution to the next level. You and your team will be responsible for unlocking ways for digital marketers to share and deliver content at scale, an integral part of any digital transformation strategy.

We are looking for a Product Owner that can execute on a roadmap that you will collaborate on with the Product Manager of the domain and you will deliver on with the team. You will work with a cross-functional team of several Engineers (Frontend, Backend, QA, DevOps & Engineering Manager), a Product Designer and an Agile lead to drive customer value with product solutions. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Group Product Manager of the domain. 

What you will be doing

As a Product Owner you are responsible for managing the product backlog. You enrich, structure and breakdown high level specs or requirements into actionable epics and user stories that the development team uses to deliver product features.

• Lead the development sprints and ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap set by the product manager.
• Turn customer issues into actionable user stories, prioritize the user stories, and arrange user stories in the product backlog.
• Ensure that the product strategy and vision is effectively communicated with the development team so that it is clear what to work on next and why it is important.
• Support the product manager in updating and maintaining internal and external documentation of deliverables. 
• Collaborate with UX and QA on acceptance testing processes and defining acceptance criteria.
• Provide feedback on the validated roadmap and collaborate with the product manager to ensure the most important issues are prioritized.
• Collaborate with the Agile lead to identify operational needs, problems and opportunities and contribute to the improvement of existing processes and organizations. 
• Act as a liaison between the development team and the Product Manager; Report on team progress of executing the roadmap against timelines and raise any dependencies to keep team focused on priorities
• Communicate and collaborate with other Product Owners across the platform.

What we are looking for

• Proactive product enthusiast with a technical mind-set who has the ability to transform business and user needs into tangible solutions. 
• 2+ years as a (technical) Product Owner/Manager in an Agile environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English both verbally and written
• Excellent communication skills 

Nice to have

• B2B/B2C experience with a commercial SaaS platform
• Experience with software project management tools like Jira/Confluence.
• Agile Scrum certified
