Job Description
This is an opportunity to help us re-imagine financial services and how we deliver best in class products, services and experiences for our customers and staff.
The role is the intersection and interface between product, program management, operations and optimisation. You’ll design key operational processes and procedures with the objective of quickly launching in the market while building scalability at the heart of what we do.
You will own key operational relationships with our operations leadership and product leadership, bringing your understanding of systems, process, structure and data. You are comfortable working cross functionally, internally and externally driving deals and projects and positioning our projects and direction multiple ‘moves’ ahead of where we are.
You will have the ability to understand the big picture and quickly drill into the detail that matters - going from strategy through to execution and operation. You will support our team’s decision making processes, test hypotheses and remove ambiguity through structured and logical analyses.
The role will work across:
Operations - analytics across the operating model, from process through to people and data
Product - existing and new product operational analysis and implementation
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operating Model Analysis
- Build processes and procedures to deliver product and services efficiently and effectively to market
- Productivity modelling to assist in identifying improvement opportunities in servicing / capacity planning
- Assessment of industry and regulatory requirements and their impacts on the operating model
- Configuration of operations tools and platforms to implement designed processes and procedures
- Supply chain support and administration in onshoring our products from manufacturers and 3PL
- Product Management Support
- Product feature roadmapping support which includes research and review of the product and service landscape locally and internationally
- Project management support in scheduling, dependency identification and progress monitoring
- Product Implementation
- Supporting the implementation of product and their enablement processes throughout the organisation
- You will be comfortable working in large, complex projects and driving project management activities - in particularly, you will be comfortable managing internal and external stakeholders, deadlines and de-risking project critical paths
- You will have operationalisation at the forefront of your considerations with a view to embedding process and capability into 1st line teams.

Qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years in business banking, product strategy and/or consulting
- Worked in fast moving businesses and the ability to pivot approaches quickly to get to answers
- Comfortable with quantitative analysis / statistics and must have strong Excel / data modelling skills
- Have an eye for detail and are able to ‘drill-in’ to minutia but are able to synthesize information
- Can effectively prioritise work to drive outcomes
- Comfortable working under pressure
Bonus Points
- Management consulting experience in Strategy and Operations, and consulting experience specifically in Financial Services is considered a plus!
- Experience in working within a high-growth environment
- Experience in technology / FinTech
- Understanding of operating model design, metrics selection and prioritisation processes
